Confronting the Challenges of Cyber Crime Investigations

We have concluded this year's series of educational Outreach Event Seminars. Hundreds of investigators throughout the West and Midwest regions of the U. S. told us that the experts we brought to their area taught them skills and techniques they could take back to their office and use immediately in their investigations.

There was also a great deal of excitement among those who attended as NW3C unveiled its new Internet Complaint Search and Investigation System (ICSIS). ICSIS is now available at no charge to our member agencies. It is a database where information from around the country is co-shared, and where investigators can locate current internet crimes and open investigations in their area.
