New Partnership for Fighting Hi-Tech Crimes
RICHMOND, VA – The Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia State Police and the National White Collar Crime Center, have entered into a partnership to fight cyber crime. A key component of that partnership will be the development of the "Virginia Digital Forensics Laboratory" (VDFL). The VDFL will be a regional forensics teaching and research facility where academia, the business sector and law enforcement can work together to develop strategies and tools for combating the #1 growing problem today - cyber crime.
